If you agree with something someone is doing and saying — awesome. You two should go grab a drink and talk about how awesome you both are.

If you disagree with something someone is doing and saying — awesome. You two should go grab a drink and talk so you can learn how awesome you both are. Or at least can be. In the right light.

If you are offended by something someone is doing or saying — say something. Maybe you two can come to an understanding. Maybe they didn’t know what they were doing, or didn’t realize it came out wrong. Maybe you mistook what they said or did, or you’re just a being a little sore. Perhaps you guys can go get drinks after you iron things out.

If you hate something that someone is doing and saying, and there is never going to be a chance of you ever getting drinks ever — keep your mouth shut. Sometimes people are different, and that’s okay. If it doesn’t affect you, then it really doesn’t matter. And getting all up in their face about it isn’t going to make them change their mind and will make you look like a total tool. Best to avoid the situation and be polite when pressed. Save your time and energy and look for a like-minded individual, because drinking alone sucks.
